In Central Wisconsin, you will experience all four seasons. Each season offers unique outdoor activities for residents and guests. In fall, the leaves change to beautiful colors. Visit Helene’s Hilltop Orchard to pick apples, choose a pumpkin, take a hayride, go through a corn maze, and eat delicious pie. Take a hike on the top of Rib Mountain and enjoy the stunning view of the area in full fall color.
Spring is a wonderful time of year to get out and tour the area. Places of interest include: the 400 Block, Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum, Center for the Visual Arts, Central Wisconsin Cultural Center, Marathon County Historical Museum, Marathon Cheese, and local farms like the Van Der Geest Farm.
Winter brings snow to Central Wisconsin allowing for many fun winter activities including: snowmobiling, downhill skiing at Granite Peak, tubing down hills, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and ice fishing.
