Sharing Values
WVLHS is part of a team consisting of
church, home and school, all working together for the total
development of the students.
WVLHS
encourages students to make thoughtful Christian decisions
and take positive Christian actions as they live out their
individual roles in society.
The role of the WVLHS teachers and
staff in sharing values is to be exemplary models in their
love of Christ, students, and families and to minister to
them.
While WVLHS enrolls students of many
faiths, it teaches from a uniquely Lutheran Church Missouri
Synod perspective.
Strengthening Minds WVLHS is a nationally recognized high
school, in 2006 having received National Lutheran School
Accreditation which is recognized by regional accreditation
agencies.
WVLHS provides a unique educational
environment in which all students are encouraged to identify
and develop their own God-given gifts and abilities.
The WVLHS education is understood to be the entire program
of growth activities provided for students:
personal-spiritual, academic and extracurricular.
Shaping Lives Each student at WVLHS is considered a unique
creation of God, redeemed by Jesus Christ, and nurtured by
the Holy Spirit.
WVLHS provides an educational
environment for our students to find true purpose founded
and developed in God’s will for their lives.
It is important for the WVLHS students
to know God and His forgiving love in Jesus Christ, to
identify themselves as children of God, and to live as His
disciples and servants.

On
Tuesday June 23, 2009
crews will shut down the south bound ramp from Maple
Ridge to Interstate 39. This is for
construction related to the
Maple Ridge overpass and Bull Jr. Creek projects.
The ramp will remain closed through the end of
August, maybe early September.
